In May 2023, Emilia-Romagna was hit by two exceptional flood waves, on May 2-3 and May 16-17, causing floods, landslides, and severe flooding in many areas of the region.
In this emergency context, Aquageo, together with Dragflow and through the Rotary Club Venezia Riviera del Brenta, contributed to the donation of a professional submersible pump complete with piping to the Provincial Fire Brigade Command of Venice, immediately destined for interventions in the areas affected by the flood.
The equipment, designed to handle water with silt, mud, and debris where a traditional pump would risk clogging quickly, provided concrete support to field operations.
An initiative that expresses our way of understanding corporate social responsibility: transforming the skills developed in water management into useful tools to support institutions, rescuers, and communities in times of greatest difficulty.
